My Father dedicated himself in his service and praise ; here is a lovely Vinay Chalisa dedicated for him.
In Lucknow the 4 Tuesdays of the Month of June (Jyeshtha) is celebrated as Bada Mangal .On the roadside corporate houses, shopkeepers and residents erect canopies to offer free unlimited chilled sherbet, water and food to all passer-bys, blaring chants dedicated to Lord Hanuman can be heard in all Hanuman temples. Evening is the time for children to rejoice in fairs that are put up around the temples for the devotees. Muslims in large numbers put up stalls to offer water and food to the devotees in the scorching summer heat of Lucknow.
This festival that is unique to Lucknow is the biggest example of secularism and cross-religious beliefs of people of Lucknow. Innumerable examples of Hindus constructing mosques and Muslims constructing temples can be found in Lucknow. Lucknow till date is a peaceful city that has had no history of any communal violence or has shown any intolerance toward opposite regions.
This is how we understood loving ,sharing and caring in childhood.
In India most of the families take out a portion of food for poor and even cows. I saw my mother doing the same and it always felt nice as we had lots of street vendors as visitors regularly coming to our door to ask for food water and also daily essentials. So giving was a way of life because both my parents had an understanding about the hardships of life. My parents always emphasized on service towards the people who took care of us our house helps, regular street vendors and we also had fakirs and saints coming for regular donations. My dad financed religious trips for them. They use to sing praises and give blessings to my Dad aloud , I still have those voices fresh in my ears. Once I had gone out to give a blanket to the Fakir he asked for my name and since then started taking my name as soon he entered our lane.
“Sargam Bitiya Ka Bhala Ho….Babuji Ka Bhala ho” It was his way of giving blessings ; as a child it was so fascinating.
The amazing value system that was silently absorbed as a child some where was out of focus once I left for college to Mumbai for pursuing my dreams and I got lost in the madness of earning a living.
Then in 2010 -2012 when I was struggling with everything in my life , I started feeling my life was too shallow there was nothing worthwhile. I was just not happy with anything.. ….and then after a wait of 2 years Pranic Healing happened and it brought my focus back to LIFE.
Life is much more beautiful and intense when we live with a purpose, a vision which is much much bigger and great than just ME , I Myself.
So When Master Choa Says Manifest Your Greatness! You cannot just sit and do nothing you have to constantly live his vision and also help strengthen his mission.
