Standards do not define you ; YOU ARE A WOMAN

Standard

I have always been really happy being born as a girl child to my parents it was like the best thing that happened to them πŸ™‚ . We are two sisters and our parents did their best to raise us with good values and best of education and encouraged us to practice our free will to choose what we wanted to aspire for.

My parents ensured that we get the best of education and we went to the best of school in the city. Being a girl or a woman felt to be really a gift from god and I still feel it is today. As I moved from school to college I started observing a lot of change around may be I started paying more attention to the discrimination that my friends told they felt in their families specially growing up with their brothers. I was a lot into my dream world since child hood ;drawing, painting, dancing and music was what I enjoyed after my studies. My sister enjoyed helping my mom in kitchen and my mom insisted that I also help her as when I got married the kitchen would be my priority πŸ™‚

STOP TRYING Just be yourself

I never realized about these things till I was suppose to get married that even with a wonderful education background, a good paying job there was always a scrutiny on will I be a good Wife/Mother/Daughter in Law?? and I am sure this is with so many others like me….

A woman has to look good, speak good, keep the house good , keep the family happy , be sociable …………and the list is endless once all this is taken care she can work and do what she likes πŸ™‚ The report card of our progress always has a scope of lots of improvement πŸ™‚ as we have an impossible expectation from ourselves.

Oprah Winfrey

There are standards that have been defined to evaluate a woman on every parameter that society thinks is a must do. Sadly most of us are still struggling to prove our worth to our own families by trying to balance the work and home. I have been working closely with women and as I myself is balancing both I know there can never be full justice to both these roles always. But this does not decrease our own self worth ; “We cannot make others happy if We are not happy”.

We need to define our own self worth and if people love you they will understand and make changes in their life and if they don’t there is no reason for you to think so much πŸ™‚ We also have to stand for each other so wherever you are help and encourage women to shine and grow and be happy; we need that love and support to discover our own self.

Work and Womanhood

Who are you? I AM…….

Standard

This is one of the most profound question ever to be asked from ourselves . I was in this beautiful workshop in Lucknow India on 22nd September 2013 (MCKS Arhatic Yoga) and there was an exercise that was done in partners where one partner asked the other “Who Are You” and the other person had to answer this like a hundred times and every time a different answer. We all started with our ego selves with our name, designation , family and then after like 10 replies the ego got exhausted and then there was this beautiful realization when I think my inner being (soul) took over and the answers changed from separateness to oneness so gradually ….I AM the universe, I Am the Source, I Am the infinite possibilities that exist, I AM a child of GOD, I AM GOD πŸ™‚

This Shift from Separateness to Oneness changed my idea of Who I AM.Β Yesterday came across this beautiful illustration shared by Alexa Apples a wonderful lady and it beautifully summarizes my thought and was the reason for this blog.

Explaining Kids Hatred and Non Forgiveness πŸ™‚ We can learn from it too

Hate is a very very strong negative word and has a disastrous effect on our energy body when ever we speak it out of our mouth or even thinking about such toxic thoughts.

Once a teacher faced a lot of trouble asking kids to sit beside each other in a class as these kids had their own petty issues with each other so she carried out an interesting task in class. She asked the kids to get potatoes to school and then name the potatoes as the class mates whom they did not like. Some kids had two, some three and some as many as 6-7 potatoes πŸ™‚

Β

The teacher then asked the kids to carry these potatoes daily to the class in their school bags, the kids were excited and carried for few days in their school bags. Slowly they felt the additional burden of carrying the potatoes every day from home to school and then carrying them around was a tough job for the kids.

Β

After a week the potatoes started rotting and smelling in the bag, kids approached the teacher and asked if they could give away one potato to the teacher and she agreed. But the condition was that as they gave the potato named Harry they will have to make friends with Harry. Once a kid did away with one potato it was easier for him to carry the lighter bag and gradually they wanted to get rid of all their rotten potatoes and they started giving away the potatoes πŸ™‚Β

Β

The class became more cohesive and affectionate towards each other and the kids understood the lesson.

Β

The same applies to each one of us we carry unforgiving thoughts and negative feelings towards each other for years and years. This rottens our own thinking, disturbs our energy body and we suffer physical and mental illness.

Β

Our natural state of being is love and any emotion that disconnects from the natural state is detrimental.

Your Imperfectness Makes it Perfect

Standard

ImageThe search of that perfect mate is a quest of every individual . It is also the most talked about question during relationship counselling πŸ™‚ .I posted the above picture on my Facebook status and I could see hidden question mark on the likes and comments. Β Do you really think so πŸ˜› and that is how I got the perfect article to write on imperfectness πŸ™‚

Our purpose to incarnate in human form on this earth is not to come and find our perfect life partner. As most of us think our mission in life is to find a soul mate and we spend a lifetime trying and testing people to check whether they pass the litmus test of perfect soul mates. The outcome of this wonderful search are several heartbreaks and heartaches and at times re marriages.

We keep seeking true love all our life in expectation of living a perfect romantic movie life …and they lived happily ever and after ending. Not until we are hit by the same love of our life in all the wrong places and the meaning of life and soul mate changes our life 360 degrees πŸ™‚

The Great Indian saint and poet “Tulsidas ji” went through his enlightenment after he was nagged by his wife for his indispensable love to her bodily form. Ratnavali his wife Β said “had you showed your love for god your life would have been far more worthwhile”, This brought a shift in his consciousness and the great Indian Epic “Ramayana” was conceived by Tulsidas ji.

It is a sad to share but the truth is we learn only in contrasts. To understand love we have to experience a lack of love, to understand trust we have to face distrust, that is how life evolves.

Every person is a projection of our own consciousness, we are living magnets. The imperfections we see in others is a reflection of our own nature which has to be worked upon. Imperfect relationships as we think are the perfect situation for our own expansion.

Lets pay gratitude to these perfectly imperfect partners in our life they are our spiritual gurus πŸ™‚

Listen to The Music of Your Heart -Your Partner for Life

Standard

Our heart is the only partner for life ; but we keep chasing people for a life long partnership πŸ™‚ and end up with heart aches and heart breaks πŸ˜› . The heart is the first organ that is created in a fetus and works till our last breath non stop.

Heart’s magnetic and electric field are much stronger than that of the brain and that is the reason your heart is the best compass to tell your vibration state. The higher your vibration the stronger is the field you generate to attract wonderful people and good circumstances in your life. If you feel what you are attracting in life is not what you desire just change the music of your heart from sad to happy πŸ™‚ raise your vibration by doing what you love, be with people whom you love and love your self. πŸ™‚

Your heart sings when it is happy and this music that your heart radiates sets a vibration heard and felt throughout the Universe. Radiate what you want from the Universe… Love, Abundance, Togetherness , Health anything …

You sing from your heart and HE will ensure it is granted.
