Who are you? I AM…….

Standard

This is one of the most profound question ever to be asked from ourselves . I was in this beautiful workshop in Lucknow India on 22nd September 2013 (MCKS Arhatic Yoga) and there was an exercise that was done in partners where one partner asked the other “Who Are You” and the other person had to answer this like a hundred times and every time a different answer. We all started with our ego selves with our name, designation , family and then after like 10 replies the ego got exhausted and then there was this beautiful realization when I think my inner being (soul) took over and the answers changed from separateness to oneness so gradually ….I AM the universe, I Am the Source, I Am the infinite possibilities that exist, I AM a child of GOD, I AM GOD 🙂

This Shift from Separateness to Oneness changed my idea of Who I AM. Yesterday came across this beautiful illustration shared by Alexa Apples a wonderful lady and it beautifully summarizes my thought and was the reason for this blog.

You are a spiritual being a divine creation of GOD ; you have all the reason to feel happy and special.

Explaining Kids Hatred and Non Forgiveness 🙂 We can learn from it too

Hate is a very very strong negative word and has a disastrous effect on our energy body when ever we speak it out of our mouth or even thinking about such toxic thoughts.

Once a teacher faced a lot of trouble asking kids to sit beside each other in a class as these kids had their own petty issues with each other so she carried out an interesting task in class. She asked the kids to get potatoes to school and then name the potatoes as the class mates whom they did not like. Some kids had two, some three and some as many as 6-7 potatoes 🙂

The teacher then asked the kids to carry these potatoes daily to the class in their school bags, the kids were excited and carried for few days in their school bags. Slowly they felt the additional burden of carrying the potatoes every day from home to school and then carrying them around was a tough job for the kids.

After a week the potatoes started rotting and smelling in the bag, kids approached the teacher and asked if they could give away one potato to the teacher and she agreed. But the condition was that as they gave the potato named Harry they will have to make friends with Harry. Once a kid did away with one potato it was easier for him to carry the lighter bag and gradually they wanted to get rid of all their rotten potatoes and they started giving away the potatoes 🙂

The class became more cohesive and affectionate towards each other and the kids understood the lesson.

The same applies to each one of us we carry unforgiving thoughts and negative feelings towards each other for years and years. This rottens our own thinking, disturbs our energy body and we suffer physical and mental illness.

Our natural state of being is love and any emotion that disconnects from the natural state is detrimental.

Lots of love -Sargam ❤

Your Imperfectness Makes it Perfect

Standard

ImageThe search of that perfect mate is a quest of every individual . It is also the most talked about question during relationship counselling 🙂 .I posted the above picture on my Facebook status and I could see hidden question mark on the likes and comments.  Do you really think so 😛 and that is how I got the perfect article to write on imperfectness 🙂

Our purpose to incarnate in human form on this earth is not to come and find our perfect life partner. As most of us think our mission in life is to find a soul mate and we spend a lifetime trying and testing people to check whether they pass the litmus test of perfect soul mates. The outcome of this wonderful search are several heartbreaks and heartaches and at times re marriages.

We keep seeking true love all our life in expectation of living a perfect romantic movie life …and they lived happily ever and after ending. Not until we are hit by the same love of our life in all the wrong places and the meaning of life and soul mate changes our life 360 degrees 🙂

The Great Indian saint and poet “Tulsidas ji” went through his enlightenment after he was nagged by his wife for his indispensable love to her bodily form. Ratnavali his wife  said “had you showed your love for god your life would have been far more worthwhile”, This brought a shift in his consciousness and the great Indian Epic “Ramayana” was conceived by Tulsidas ji.

It is a sad to share but the truth is we learn only in contrasts. To understand love we have to experience a lack of love, to understand trust we have to face distrust, that is how life evolves.

Every person is a projection of our own consciousness, we are living magnets. The imperfections we see in others is a reflection of our own nature which has to be worked upon. Imperfect relationships as we think are the perfect situation for our own expansion.

Lets pay gratitude to these perfectly imperfect partners in our life they are our spiritual gurus 🙂

Listen to The Music of Your Heart -Your Partner for Life

Standard

Our heart is the only partner for life ; but we keep chasing people for a life long partnership 🙂 and end up with heart aches and heart breaks 😛 . The heart is the first organ that is created in a fetus and works till our last breath non stop.

Image

Heart’s magnetic and electric field are much stronger than that of the brain and that is the reason your heart is the best compass to tell your vibration state. The higher your vibration the stronger is the field you generate to attract wonderful people and good circumstances in your life. If you feel what you are attracting in life is not what you desire just change the music of your heart from sad to happy 🙂 raise your vibration by doing what you love, be with people whom you love and love your self. 🙂

Your heart sings when it is happy and this music that your heart radiates sets a vibration heard and felt throughout the Universe. Radiate what you want from the Universe… Love, Abundance, Togetherness , Health anything …

You sing from your heart and HE will ensure it is granted.

The Spunk in Spanking

Standard

Lots of likes and encouraging comments for the below status on FB and I was kind of upset over it 😦 This is a classic example of the control based atmosphere that starts from home. With parents inducing fear in their children as compared to what they feel is respect.

ImageWe see the larger reflection of this fear based control for respect in our society and government, offices and all around us.

Respect is earned you can’t gift wrap and give it to people as presents for their unapproved behavior. Being an elder does not entitle you respect if you do not live up to it. It applies same in relationships and society.

I have number of cases where kids suffer poor self esteem and under confidence because of an abusive childhood. Spanking, Hitting, howling ,shouting ,and physical punishments leave a deep scar in children who carry them in their hearts even in their old age. If you spank with control, discipline, and good intent, your kids are more likely to have depression and engage in aggressive behavior in adulthood. An Infographic was conducted explaining what 36,000 people and 88 studies found. More details in the article The Science of Spanking

Here are some of the findings the short term and long term effects of corporal punishments for children.

“Children are a projection of your true self” and when they mirror your own negatives you get offended. Punishment induces fear and not respect, Respect is induced with Love. You need to be there to provide directions till your child needs it they have a brain and heart , let them use it.Image

I was never spanked nor I believe in spanking let the kids bloom and shine in love – Lots of Love Sargam.Image

As  wondefully written by Kabir Das

“Moko Kahan Dhundhe Re Bande Mein To Tere Paas Mein
Na Teerath Mein, Na Moorat Mein Na Ekant Niwas Mein
Na Mandir Mein, Na Masjid Mein Na Kabe Kailas Mein
Mein To Tere Paas Mein Bande Mein To Tere Paas Mein
Na Mein Jap Mein, Na Mein Tap Mein Na Mein Barat Upaas Mein
Na Mein Kiriya Karm Mein Rehta Nahin Jog Sanyas Mein
Nahin Pran Mein Nahin Pind Mein Na Brahmand Akas Mein
Na Mein Prakuti Prawar Gufa Mein Nahin Swasan Ki Swans Mein
Khoji Hoye Turat Mil Jaoon Ik Pal Ki Talas Mein
Kahet Kabir Suno Bhai Sadho Mein To Hun Viswas Mein”Image

Translation

Where do you search me? I am with you
Not in pilgrimage, nor in Statues, Neither in solitudes
Not in temples, nor in mosques Neither in Kaba nor in Kailash
I am with you o man, I am with you
Not in prayers, nor in meditation, Neither in fasting
Not in yogic exercises, Neither in renunciation
Neither in the vital force nor in the body, Not even in the ethereal space
Neither in the womb of Nature, Not in the breath of the breath
Seek earnestly and discover, In but a moment of search
Says Kabir, Listen with care, Where your faith is, I am there.

Meditations, Mindfulness and other spiritual activites help you calm the waters of emotions so that we can understand our own selves, our own life purpose. How you meditate , what you meditate on is not relevant as long you are connected within.

Love is the only thread binding you and every person, being and object in this universe the way you treat them is how you are treating your self. The entire universe is your projection.

What is the center of the universe?????? It is YOU this is your importance 🙂

DO not belittle this universe by living a wasteful life, find your life purpose and follow it with gratitude and love -Sargam
